A few weeks ago, the crew at Frank and Oak, the Canadian menswear brand that just opened up a shop in Mass., approached me to shoot some of the new selections from their Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Started by fellow Montreal friends Ethan Song and Hicham Ratani, Frank & Oak takes some classic menswear looks and injects them with a modern European twist. The brand delivers on some quality, fitted basics: jeans, khakis, t-shirts, along with a few more pop pieces, like the bomber and linen jackets featured above and below.
For this shoot I grabbed my good buddy Taylor on the hottest day of the year and took this gear for a test run. The rooftop shots were taken on the roof of my brothers apartment, overlooking downtown Boston. The later ones were taken alongside the side of the first Church of Christ, Scientist.
Frank and Oak's new store is at 220 Newbury St. in Boston, MA.
Thanks to Jeff Lahens of Frank and Oak for lending us the gear and thanks to Taylor for doing the modeling duties. Finally, and probably most importantly, thanks to Harry for the Japanese whiskey at 10:30 a.m. (and the roof deck).
