To say we have a bit of a menswear crush on Ball and Buck would be an understatement. From the awesome American Field trade show that showcased American-made menswear goods all weekend to collaborations with Harpoon, these guys are checking all the right boxes for an up-and-coming local brand. And, just like any trendy son that grows up under your watchful eye, they are packing up their suitcases and going to join the big leagues in Brooklyn (don’t worry, they’re sticking around here, too).
One thing Ball & Buck has nailed, in addition to their awesome (and patented) camo print, is the lifestyle imagery associated with the brand. Founder and current owner Mark Bollman has made success that his personal mission. He takes solo pilgrimages out to Montana to hunt and fly fish, getting their aptly-named truck, the America II, stuck in the mud along the way.
This past week, the boys at B&B released their latest look book highlighting their new gear coming up this fall/winter.
The deep rich blues of the Big Motana Sky, the golden hills of wheat, and the pops of reds and greens found in the feathers of game birds” are all present in this line. Keep an eye out for heavyweight plaids and a new evolution on their flagship Uploand Jacket.
Just as a heads up, you should probably take in these photos with a strong drink of bourbon and some bluegrass.
